Autumn at Audubon
Through hikes in our forest, prairie, and to the top of our 60-foot tower, students gain an understanding of how both plants and animals use autumn to prepare for the winter. Explore how and why trees change color. After this program, students will be able to describe the chemical process that makes color change happen. Concepts learned can be applied to understanding the changes in their own backyard.
