Animals with Bad Reputations
Using live animals, hands-on demonstrations, songs and stories, this program stresses how animals’ public perception is often inaccurate. Bad reputations are responsible for attitudes detrimental to the existence of creatures that are important to our environment. Students meet a few live animals with bad reputations: a snake, a toad, and a tarantula. We also talk about wolves, bats, owls, and skunks. This program will focus on the good traits of these animals and the benefits they provide ecosystems.
