About my Species: Common in Wisconsin, Screech Owls are recognized by their trilling call, instead of a hoot. Their colors allow them to camouflage in with their natural environment. Screech owl feathers blend in nearly perfectly with tree bark, effectively making them disappear when nesting in tree cavities.
