Offsite Programs
Schlitz Audubon’s educational offerings are not just limited to our 185 acres – each year we provide outreach programming for a variety of community organizations including libraries, child care facilities, recreation centers, etc. All programs below, with the exception of the Raptors in Conservation program, can be facilitated in either a meet & greet or assembly-style format. Meet & greets are best suited for events or venues where the audience is passing through – like farmer’s markets or festivals. Assemblies are best suited for events or venues where the audience will attend the entire presentation – like daycare centers or libraries.
Pricing varies depending on event details.

Eagle & Friends
With awesome power, spectacular strength, a huge wingspan, and massive talons, the Bald Eagle is the very essence of a raptor and headlines this program. Accompanied by hawks, owls, and falcons.
Raptors in Conservation
Raptor ecologists face many conservation challenges. Environmental contamination, habitat loss, and climate change have the most dramatic effect on apex predators, making raptors strong indicators of overall ecosystem health. Our live birds will provide unique opportunities to explore past and present issues in conservation and highlight conservation successes. Audience members will also learn how they can help conserve raptors in their everyday lives.
This program is only available in assembly-style format.
