Nature School Art Studio: Blossoms and Blooms
Saturday, May 3, 2025 | 9:30 am - 11:30 am
$20.00 – $25.00Explore the natural world through art! Young children can explore, experiment and take artistic risks to discover their own individual approach to artmaking. In our May class, young artists will be inspired by the textures, shapes, and colors of plants. Materials and tools will be provided, and teachers will demonstrate multiple ways they can be used. The possibilities are as endless as your child’s imagination!
Hosted by the Nature School’s 2024/2025 Artist in Residence Abbey Finn, this series of programs offers Process Art experiences for children ages 3-6. Process Art allows children to focus on the process of making art, rather than the finished product. It’s an open-ended, unstructured, and self-motivated way for children to explore materials, techniques, and self-expression. The Gardens Outdoor Classroom will serve as our Art Studio with various stations for exploration of materials and processes.
This is a drop-off program designed for children ages 3-6.
Members: $20 per child | Non-members: $25 per child
