Magical Monarchs and Friends

Explore the winged wonders that are Monarch butterflies and their friends. Join Naturalists Jake Collison and Melanie Ziolecki as they guide you through the life cycles and migration of these famous butterflies. Learn about the proper techniques for catching butterflies in a net, how to study them up close, and how to safely release them. After the hike, everyone creates their own butterfly craft! 

This program is designed for children aged 5 and older; children must be accompanied by an adult. This program will take place entirely outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, a portion of the program will take place indoors.
