Literary Hike: The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben 

On this hike we will find inspiration in the pages of The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben. In his book, Wohlleben makes the case that a forest is a social network, drawing on groundbreaking scientific discoveries to describe how trees are like human families. Follow this guided hike while listening to curated book passages along our trails, all while witnessing, exploring, and developing an understanding of the natural phenomena described.

This program is led by Aubrey Fulsaas, who developed the literary hike programming at Schlitz Audubon. Copies of the book are available in our Nature Store to purchase but are not required. This program will take place entirely outdoors.
