Our Junior Elementary Homeschool Program is an introductory experience for children ages 6-8. With the guidance of experienced naturalists, we begin to work in groups to discover nature at the Center. Students form connections with the creatures and habitats that make up Southeastern Wisconsin.

December 12, 2024 | Tree Identification
Can you identify the trees in your backyard without the leaves as a clue? Visit with our local Tree Experts to learn how to identify Wisconsin trees.
January 9, 2025 | Nature’s Neighborhoods in Winter
What’s happening in the habitats in Winter? Students will revisit the three unique neighborhoods and compare what they found in Fall to what they see now.
February 13, 2025 | Snow and Ice
What happens to water in Winter? Join us for some experiments and learn the differences between types of snowflakes and ice.

REGISTRATION DETAILS
A completed student profile, which includes a health history and emergency care plan, is required for each participant prior to registration. We require a new student profile prior to each school year.
