Crafting for Conservation: Invasive Flowers

Saturday, June 14, 2025 | 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$35.00 – $50.00

,

As the summer flowers bloom, not all are welcome. Join Environmental Educator Melanie Ziolecki and Conservation staff as we learn the summer flowers that we appreciate and those we need to remove. After a short review of flower identification, we will join a conservation staff member in the field to pull out Dames Rocket, a beautiful yet harmful purple and white flower. We will take them back to the center to make pressed flower pictures to take home.

The maximum number per group is 6 people. This program is designed for all ages; children must be accompanied by an adult. This program takes place both indoors and outdoors.

Members: $35 per group of 6 or less | Non-Members: $50 per group of 6 or less
