Christmas Bird Count

This holiday season, join Schlitz Audubon Nature Center in the National Audubon Society’s Christmas Bird Count. Come participate in the longest running community science birding project through a free guided hike along our Lake Terrace Loop! The Christmas Bird Count exists to promote bird conservation through observing wild birds and counting them in their native habitats. The lake terrace is at the bottom of a steep bluff, so wear appropriate, anti-slip footwear. Bundle up, meet us in front of the building, and let’s count some birds!
