FreeAdults, Birding, Clubs, Free with Membership, Guided Hikes
Join a welcoming community of bird enthusiasts on the second Wednesday of the month. New and experienced birders will meet to learn together, discuss bird-related issues, and hike to discover birds on our trails. Our co-host is Dan Panetti, owner of Wild Birds Unlimited in Mequon.
This month, a special guest presentation from Schlitz Audubon’s Raptor Department will highlight the education and conservation priorities that surround the care of our fifteen resident avian ambassadors. Anyone aged 14 and older who is interested in learning more about birds regardless of prior experience is welcome. You will learn and enhance your identification skills from experienced birders. Due to the early darkness of winter evenings, there will not be a planned hike associated with this program.
Free to all. Optional donation supports habitat preservation at the Center. Registration required.
