Bird Club

Join a welcoming community of bird enthusiasts on the second Wednesday of the month. New and experienced birders will meet to learn together, discuss bird-related issues, and hike to discover birds on our trails. Our co-host is Dan Panetti, owner of Wild Birds Unlimited in Mequon.  

This month our special guest is Jennifer Lazewski, Executive Director for the Wisconsin Society for Ornithology. She will share with us the exciting plans for education and conservation work the WSO is planning for grassland birds and their habitats. Anyone aged 14 and older who is interested in learning more about birds regardless of prior experience is welcome. You have the opportunity to network with and learn from other bird enthusiasts. Due to the early darkness of winter evenings, there will not be a planned hike associated with this program. 

Free to all. Optional donation supports habitat preservation at the Center. Registration required.
