Audubon Toddlers: Bugs and Slugs
Friday, June 7, 2024 | 9:30 am - 11:00 am
$30 – $40Come join us in nurturing a sense of wonder in nature with your little one in this program facilitated by a Nature School Teacher. We start in one of our specially designed outdoor classrooms to explore, play, and create art. Be prepared for your child to get a little messy, it is all part of the fun and learning! We’ll also gather as a group to sing songs and listen to a story before we head out on a short seasonal hike just the right length for little legs. Adults can connect with other nature-loving families of young children for fellowship and community. Spend quality time outdoors with just you and your little one!
Please note: This class is specifically designed for children 2 to 3 years old accompanied by their adult caregiver. We require a one-to-one ratio of child to adult for this program. (To optimize the experience for all, accompanying infants can attend, but this class is not appropriate for mobile younger siblings.) This program will take place outdoors, rain or shine. Please dress your little one and yourself for the weather. We recommend waterproof shoes or boots. In case of severe weather or air quality concerns, the program will be relocated indoors.
Members: $30 per adult/child pair | Non-members: $40 per adult/child pair
