Audubon Kids: Animal Athletics
Saturday, June 7, 2025 | 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
$15.00 – $20.00In our Audubon Kids program series, children 7 years or older will experience nature through hands-on exploration, games, and fun! These classes are designed as drop-off opportunities akin to our renowned Summer Camp programming. Children join our Naturalists for activities designed to entertain, educate, and empower a lifelong love of the environment.
This month’s program focuses on how animals rely on amazing athletic abilities to survive. Do you have what it takes to out-jump a white-tailed deer, out-hunt a coyote, or beat the other butterflies through metamorphosis? To find out, kids will compete in a series of animal-themed challenges and create their own nature-based medals with Environmental Educators Aubrey Fulsaas and Jim Thielke.
This program will take place entirely outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, a portion of the program will be done indoors.
Members: $15 per youth | Non-members: $20 per youth
