Friday, April 5, 2024 | 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
$10 – $18Families, Wheelchair Accessible
Witness Jupiter, one of the night sky’s most brilliant sights, in this program for stargazers of all ages and levels of expertise. Led by Naturalist Jacob Kempinski, we’ll discover what makes our solar system’s largest planet unique, including its moons, observational history, and role in mythology. We’ll start with an interactive discussion indoors, then take our binoculars and telescopes outside to search for the same view Galileo saw in 1610. Attendees will also learn how to locate prominent planets, constellations, and deep sky objects in the spring sky.
This program is designed for all ages; children must be accompanied by an adult. This program will take place both indoors and outdoors.
Members: $10 per person | Non-members: $18 per person
